Step 1:
Before properly treating the rats, we need to know how they’re making their way inside. That’s why the first step involves a thorough inspection of both the interior and exterior of the home or business. From there, we can determine how the rats are entering and where they’re nesting. Once we know the exact locations, we set a combination of traps and rodenticide bait stations to handle the current rat population.
Step 2:
During the second visit, we seal up the existing entry points and any potential entry points. If you don’t properly seal up all entry points—even the ones that aren’t being used—the rats adjust and find a new way to get inside. That’s why we take the time to seal up every entry point to prevent future infestations.
Step 3:
During the second visit, we also install up to two exterior rodenticide bait stations. Since rats are notorious chewers, we need to prevent them from chewing into the structure and creating new entry points. By continuing to control the rats from the outside, this prevents them from making their way inside.
