Bugs Have No Business in Your Bed!

Bed bugs need a host source, and that source is you. They can hide in the tiniest of crevasses, which makes them difficult to handle AND they can reproduce quickly; a nasty combo. Fortunately, we hired on a bed bug specialist out of the metro D.C. area and have partnered with Dr. Richard Kramer, Ph.D who lives and breathes bed bugs (not literally).

Like many of the pests we handle, we approach bed bugs in a 3 step process:

Step 1:

All infestations are better handled with determination, thoroughness, and grit. We perform a lengthy inspection to gauge the severity of the situation. This is the most critical part of the process. Knowing exactly where they are and how many makes our approach more effective.

Step 2:

We offer an aggressive 3-week treatment to get the existing bugs under control. Most other pest control companies offer expensive heat or freeze treatments. We do not. We physically remove them AND precisely treat with products. The problem with a heat/freeze treatment is that if the pest senses any shift in temperature, they’ll dive deeper into your couch cushion, bed lining, or behind anything that can shield them from the treatment.

With our tool choices, we are able to effectively reduce the amount of bugs as well as precisely treat the problem areas. Another benefit to our approach is that it leaves behind a residual, so if any bugs were hiding and come out over our treatment zone, they can take that product back to hard to reach areas where more may be hiding.

Step 3:

From here, our Bed Bug Defender kicks in. After a bed bug infestation and initial treatment, Wingman Pest Control offers a year–round warranty program. This includes any treatments needed for bed bugs after our Aggressive Treatment has been performed, or after you have been cleared with a bed bug inspection from Wingman Pest Control.

We will come out once a year (typically winter) and inspect typical harborage areas that bed bugs are known to live. If bed bugs are present, you are covered! Any treatments that are needed will be taken care of at no extra charge!
