Our pest control treatments use very low toxicity products, with precision application to mitigate potential exposure for both pets and children. We use environmentally sound practices that target the ant colony, and we take extra care to ensure that the application is done in a safe manner.
It depends on the size and type of the infestation. Typically, these treatments can take up to 21-28 days for the products to take full effect. It is not uncommon to see an increase in activity 3-5 days after our initial application. From there you may start to see a decrease in populations, will full colony collapse taking place after the 21-28 day mark. It is not uncommon to see ants in other areas that there had not been previously noted. As treatments take effect, the populations may try to evacuate the original nesting site. It is important to let the ants to continue to pass through our treatment zones.
Our goal is to eliminate the root cause of the infestation. By targeting the colony and sealing entry points, we greatly reduce the chances of a re-infestation. However, if conditions aren’t addressed, there’s always a possibility that new ants may find their way in.
Please do not clean. Using cleaning products can disrupt scent trails that the ants are using and may disperse the ants to different areas of the home. Please leave conditions as they are to help us identify where ants are traveling to and from. It is also important to not clean areas that are treated until ant populations are no longer being noted in the areas of concern.
Our pest inspection is priced at $90. This inspection helps us identify the source of the problem, pinpoint entry points, and create a customized treatment plan. Should you decide to move forward with treatment, the inspection cost will be deducted from the total.
